Just went through this with my Dad, they gave him 3 months after diagnosis. He took every bit of chemo they offered him. Which is uncommon, normally after 5-6 treatments that he was getting people would fizzle out. He took all 10. Gave him an extra year with us which I’m am thankful for.
That chemo is some nasty shiit, but it will buy you some time.

Sorry to hear this young man. Both my folks are gone, yrs ago. Lost a Deputy Sheriff sister back on Apr 28th to her second bout with colon cancer. Spend as much cherished time with your ol’ man. You only get one time to do it!

I never seem to have anything profound to say in a thread like this.
Maybe it's just that my honest thoughts are simple. I guess it's why I always seem to fall back to this sentiment.

I'm just always hoping that people will get to handle things in the way that they want it to be handled.
But what a thing to have to make your choices around.
