Yes that is indeed a Sugi, youcan tell by the sprocket. I think I confused the actual lightened section with the Ore LWs
Many of the other Husky bars have the Oregon tip.

This one looks more like a Tsumura nose:

What is the lightened section of the husky bar filled with?

It is either a sugi or a tsumura depending on the market. So epoxy. It appears to be nothing more than a rebranded/painted Japanese bar.
It is very easy to see the cut outs in the vid caravankasbear posted.

Here it is at 2:50 -

I kinda agree with the youtuber. I was hoping someone was finally bringing Oregon light bars to Europe.

I dunno why Husky is using BOTH Sugihara & Tsumura....seems like a dumb idea as they have different noses so it will complicate things. Also I was excited about these bars as I thought wow they have the big cutout area like the old Oregon's so they will actually be 'light' but it's a fraud!!!!! The dark grey section is just friggin paint, most of what is underneath is SOLID Japanese steel! It still has the small oval cutouts that the original Sugi lights have. They just painted a big grey oval which gives you the impression that they would be lighter and a new design like the Cannon or old Oregon. I hope the Tsumura is not a fraud too. Disappointed...I thought these were a new design, they are a near decade old design that is far from light. Better off running the Stihl light bars that are actually 'light' or sourcing an old bendy Oregon light.

The reason why may be due to both Tsumura and SugiHara having massive supply issues. I am/was a dealer for both, and most popular bars are up to 11 months back-ordered - it's one reason why I am having a sale on bars and getting out of dealing with them, between Cvd and Brexit my supply chain is destroyed.
R U in Europe? Need a bar? Hit me up.
So likely Husky is using one supplier for NA and another for the rest, as it appears in the images the bars in the US are Husqvarna branded Sugies whilst the ones I have seen in Europe are Husqvarna branded Tsumuras.
I agree, it is a bit misleading to people familiar with Oregon bars with how they've branded them, but bear in mind most folks in the world have never seen an Oregon light bar - it is mainly a North American market product. So folks won't have issues outside of the US.
But I am familiar with the Oregon product, and I didn't like the treatment, either. However, there is a reason Oregon is not in this market as strong, aside from being made mainly in NA. It's the fact that they are not competitive. Europeans can get a Tsumura or Sugi lightweight bar for about 1/3 less the price the Oregon's and Stihl go for, and sometimes much less. That's sort of a secret most folks in NA aren't aware of. Lightweight Sugi and Tsumura bars are inflated in the NA market mainly due to the prices Stihl and Oregon ask for their light bars. I know, it seems cheeky, but these guys aren't the most cheeky. Stihl sells a light bar at premium prices that really is just a laminated bar with a standard tip. I don't really consider it a lightweight bar meant for robust use like the others. I mean, the actual laminated Stihl bars not masquerading as light bars last longer. So, it could be worse.

The relatively rare Stihl 25inch laminated bar:

It's weight:

Stihl 25 inch Light Bar:

What's the difference? I still have the laminated bar - and it's 8 years old now(and ran rapeseed oil it's entire life I might add)!

And I used it on saws like this 281:

@OOwyk

what do you have in The bar range for stihl saws

I have the same thing everyone else does - nothing :(
Those are backordered until Sept of next year I am told.
So if you find one in stock, I'd buy it.
All I have are small mounts.

Makes me feel better about the spendy 32'' Duralite I just ordered.
You seem knowledgeable on this topic. Do you know if Cannon is buying Oregon blanks to make their bars from?
They share the single rivet Oregon tips.....
