I don’t have an answer about the sale but I can tell you the 543 has been discontinued.

CZ discontinued the model 527 rifles , beautiful stock , set trigger ,
there is nothing to not like about it and "Columbus" it is to be history.
I dont understand big business.

I hear ya Buck. With the 543 being a redmax design saw I’m assuming Husky just considered it the odd man out in their somewhat crowded 40cc lineup.

My local Rural King has or had one on the shelf last week. Seemed odd for it to be there. Was happy to give it a good fingering though. Their selection is weird. They'll have a bunch of $300 saws and then a 592 sitting there or whatever. I was shocked when I saw 395s a couple years ago.

I'm sure there's still a few around. A saw shop up North still had one on the shelf, last one, as of 9-10months ago.

543 has been discontinued for a spell, and supposedly all stock has left the warehouses.

With the Redmax being on sale for $349 with b/c and Bruce having the 543XP on sale for $400 PHO, I should have bought $5000 worth of them, as it seems as soon as a saw is NLA everyone wants one…

I snagged a Redheaded version from a forum member here for an excellent price. I absolutely love the handling and power of the saw after Kevin XS’d it. He’ll probably get the red one sent his way too.

The 543/4350 MS241 ported are imho the perfect trail saw… Super light, and are capable of way out cutting their CC/bar length.
