There are pro’s and cons 395 vs 592. Largest is auto tune on the 592. (Pro if you hate tuning a saw, con if you like tuning a saw) The 395 has more grunt stock than a 592. They both port well, in my opinion with the nod going to the 395 from what I’ve seen.

really could not say as I have never ran a 392, I just jumped ship from Stihls with the purchase of the 592 my last Husky was a 266 back in the 80s

Other than milling there’s no benefit to a 395 over a 592. 592 is a lot more user friendly, handles better, doesn’t feel like a cinder block.

Sure hope you know what you’re talking about Brad. If ported saws are what you are after these events are great. However they can lead to empty pockets at the same time.
