Instead of gratuity here, I'm getting whining that I'm not feeding you guys in the way you like to be fed.

Seems kinda rude to me

and btw, there's reason to watch the vid more than just the specs

That said... here ya go:

as a bonus, I measured the 372xp o ring that goes on the PTO bushing. its about .025" x .590" ID ... somewhere in there. I can't seem to find an o ring that is that thin stocked anywhere ... anyone more info in this direction?

as a question, the material I ordered was BUNA N ... nitrile o rings. if this is wrong material for these o rings let me know. I can't imagine it is anything else, but if someone has more info here that'd be great.
Thanks for putting that info up.

I am looking for o-rings for a leaking seal on a Husqvarna 61 that I have. This is a very useful thread; thanks for posting the information on the o-rings.

I checked Amazon and they have a bag of 100 1.6mm x 29.1mm Buna-N o-rings for $14.17 and free shipping with Prime.
I like the selection and ease of using the McMaster web site but what I don't like is they don't give you a shipping cost until after an order is placed. On a small item like this shipping could be as much or more than the item itself.

yeah, depends on what saws you plan on working on over the years... if you need an assortment then mcmaster might be best

Those are viton ... and I've already posted those links but it doesn't hurt to have other sources. The issue with viton as I understand it is that it may not work well in subfreezing temps. Nitrile is more cold resistant....but less fuel resistant. I can't image husky had viton back in the day ....so nitrile it is for me :)

Thanks for the links though!

Nitrile may not be resistant to automotive fuels that contain ethanol, but work well otherwise. I don't have the subfreezing temps where I live, but I'm sure others may encounter that.

I received the o-rings you suggested from oringsandmore.com and put my 61 together when I got home from work. I did a vacuum and pressure test - no leaks! Plus a have plenty more for future projects for less cost than one o-ring from Husqvarna. Thanks to all that contributed to this post!

Anyone know the o-ring size for the same seal holders on a Husqvarna 44?
