Howdy Mike.
Did you find what caused that piston to look so funny on top?
I wonder what it would take to make that tool work on a 357xp which also has crank stuffers that the usual crank splitting tool doesn't work on.

Ok guys my good Friend Tor sent ma a case splitter that works on the 550xp 562xp among others this thing works like a champ I split a 550 case with it this evening took a few pix' s of it i n action.

Long time ago I read a post about modifying it to work on a 357/9. Mitch Weber maybe??? Was going to get back and give details never did AFAIK. But did modify to split one.

Hi Todd I did not unless it was the seal spring now I haven't checked the wrist pin b
Mike, did the splitter come with those parts also (or did you have to make some extra parts)?

Figured it out, had bought the 570/575/576 splitter ;)

Yes Sir brother Tor it DoD have all that is required bushings screws the works
