Most that know me, know that Ive been a barn hauler since 2006. The factory I haul out of is in Erwin TN. Friday it was heavily damaged in the flood. All of the inventory buildings were washed away- some are miles down the river. All of the building materials and material sheds are gone. All the guys tools in the shop are gone, the shop trucks and trailers are gone, 2 tractors destroyed, 2 forklifts. All the metal roofing. It's a 13 acre lot that was all gravel. It's covered in 2-3' of mud and silt now. I have no idea where Im gonna haul from now to service my sales lots. The factory is at exit 40 on I26. The River washed the interstate out. Even if we get the factory back up and running- without the interstate we are grid locked. Can't go thru town because of railroad overpass is too low. The closest factory is Statesville NC but that's not an option because I26 is damaged. Im not sure how long it will take to reopen the interstate and rebuild a bridge. Im waiting to see what the manufacturer comes up with. That said. Im selling this saw and likely a few others along with other stuff locally to keep some money flowing.
these pics are on Friday.
