Husqvarna 450 won't start

Subbed to see what the outcome is...literally every single thing I have thought of as I have read through this thread and was getting ready to comment with has been posted and tried by the OP with no success.

tried a known working plug ?, ie a hot one from a saw that’s just been run.

Just sometimes plugs can be duff new out of the box, and even spark while not under compression, and be different when under compression

I get saws that people say wont go and a lot of the time they have changed oil and this seems to make them act like they are flooded. and wont fire.

I mentioned the fuel primer bulb problem a while back. I suggest you block it off to the carb and see what happens. It might work, at least it will eliminate another potential problem.

Before I blocked it off, it used to flood the engine something terrible when I refueled it. I damn near killed myself cranking of over and over again trying to purge the excess fuel out of the engine with the throttle wide open.

EDIT: How I diagnosed the problem was that I noticed that the line to the primer bulb and to the carb was a straight shot, it allowed the fuel in the tank to flow directly through the bulb and into the carb. - Whereas the regular fuel line to the carb had the metering needle to block off the flow, there was no such regulation on the primer line.

See if that makes a difference.
Or just replace under warranty lol

Correct. It was the coil.

Changed it again with another coil and fired on the first pull.

It's not common at all, but it happens. I have only ever seen it on the lower end homeowner stuff, never on the pro models.

I would have been pulling my hair out too..what are the chances of a new coil being bad as well...

I know new Outta the box. Should work, but that’s one of the reason I like to grab a known working one. With What ever I need. A bit like. What I was saying about the spark plug,

But I. Guess if you got new stuff on the shelf, and that’s the stuff to hand then I would do the same. But I don’t have that choice..

I've owned a lot of the 450's, and never seen a bad one(coil).
The most common coil's I've seen out on a husky are the 55 and the 61, they take the same coil.
But for the record husky rock.

I have had 3 bad ones. One on 435 2 on 450. 435,440,445,450 use same coil. Coils are only about $22.00 ffrom Husky @ that price can't expect much.
