Anyone know how to separate husqvarna crank to replace rod bearing. May not be worth the effort, just buy a used or am crank. What do you have to say? Thanks

Press it apart is the only way. The 1128 stihls are the same size big end

That didn't take long. Lol. Too cold in the garage?
No, not to cold in garage, I live south or East Jordan and is much warmer here. A bugger to press out, then worse pressing back in, first to loose, then to tight, then too loose again. It looka just fine in metal scrap bin. Next year ask for better weather for your gtg, that day was a mess here. Enjoy your Christmas, sir.

I've never messed with one either. Your trial confirmed my suspicions. It takes more patience than what I have.
Yea, she was a blustery one the night before. But that night on the way home was terrible for a half hour. 15 mph with 40-50' visibility
The only testimonials I've really heard on AM cranks is the raisman platt. Supposedly they're really good. Might be worth a try
