I know this is an old thread, but I recently came across a good deal for two 16" bars 3/8, .050 and picked them up for my 346xp OE and NE. Does anyone have the part number or point me in the right direction for the sprocket? And do I need a different drum to fit it? Or did I make a bad move and should keep them at .325? Input is appreciated.

Everyone always wants something different. The combo you are choosing should be fine and all you have to do is change the rim. Ive ran 3/8's 20' on my ported 2153 many times. I normally run .325 18" on my 50cc saws. I especially like that setup on any 2153 or 346xp that I've owned in the past. For me, I like the little extra reach with the 18''. The thinner .325 bar makes the saw balance good and feels more nimble. Again, thats what I like.

Will the 3/8 rob some power from it? They currently have the .325 7 pin, just was able to get a smokin deal on some 3/8 .050 bars for them. The OE has a mild muffler port, and I want to send the NE out for a full port, when funds permit. Thanks for the part number on the sprocket.

It will give up a little torque as a 3/8-7 rim is larger diameter than a .325-7.
