Most of these saws ran v-stacks so the tops were cut down. Hard to find a nice one that hasn’t been butchered.
Brad Seals has all this stuff NOS but you’d wind up with a $1000 saw by the time you got done

Yes, I’ve messed with a few of these. Last one was. 285cdMost of these saws ran v-stacks so the tops were cut down. Hard to find a nice one that hasn’t been butchered.

they are out there just seeing if anyone’s got something decent if not no worries it’ll turn up

I have a really nice 480cd. Got it cheap cuz it wouldn’t run. Muffler screen tube was completely impacted with carbon gunk. Cleaned it out, runs great.
I do have main springs for the 2100 recoil. May have some other misc parts.
Make a list of pt#s needed and I can go through the boxes.

brad came to kevins years ago and i ran his sachs kms-4 for a minute and then it quit immediately and wouldnt restart. felt pretty bad i broke his expensive saw, turned out to be something simple he told me later on which was nice. good dude.Most of these saws ran v-stacks so the tops were cut down.
