Found out what the story is on those super low wrap handle kit prices that Baileys has been selling. First, they are OEM parts. Second, any dealer can get these kits.

Simple explanation is that Husky has discontinued the "W" versions of those saws as complete units and have substituted these kits as an affordable way to turn your saw into a "W". Makes things a lot simpler for them and it's a great deal for anyone looking for a wrap handle. There are kits available for the 562, 372XT, 390, and 395. All these kits are stupid cheap at $30. And they come complete with larger spikes and whatever plates or hardware came on the W saws.

There are IPL updates announcing these kits and they have new part numbers that you have to use to get the deal. Gotta be careful because the old numbers are still "live" and have the much higher pricing. A 395 kit is just $30, but if you order the old "handle only" part number it's a whopping $126 and that doesn't include all of the other stuff.

I seen them and got one for one of my 372s... The only thing mine didn't come with was a roller chain catcher which I'm not sure they even make a non roller one for the 372...

Thanks for the explanation on that Bob. I bought the 395 kit for my 394 and am utterly pleased with it, an amazing deal for the OEM wrap handle and all of the accompanying parts! Many of us were scratching our heads as to why they are so cheap.

As far 372 goes, Are these for the xt or xp models?

HANDLE 372 XP X-TORQ from 2016-10 - HUSQVARNA
HANDLE 365 X-TORQ from 2016-09 - HUSQVARNA
HANDLE 372 XP X-TORQ from 2016-09 - HUSQVARNA

This was copied right from the husqvarna catalogue. I assume the dates are when the bulletin was put out for the new part/price

As far as I know the non xt handle has smaller intentions on the plastic and is a darker grey. The xt is smoother plastic and lighter grey.
