It's been a while since I posted on the forum. I used to be known as TERRY SYD. Now I'm SPUR (email provider went out of business, new computer, *s-word in my life, etc). I've got the 455 oil pump on the saw, the 450 oil gear doesn't reach the pump, tried a 460 gear, still doesn't reach. I've got the saw putting out 70cc horsepower at 12,000-12,500, but I need more oil on the 18" bar running an 8-pin. Anybody know how to get that pump working?

I posted some pics of this job, over on AS. I don't have a working log in anymore though.

I See some other folks had thoughts about the 450 oiler. Looks like other folks have given some good input since back when I posted my efforts.

I ran into a similar issue when I put a rim sprocket on a 350 the 455 oil gear was too short I used the 350 oil gear and it worked fine on the 350 I would check one of those first
