Beautiful place, hopefully there's still topsoil beneath all of that river sand/silt. Glad to hear that the house reconstruction is coming along well, sounds like pretty much an entire rebuild, which really sucks. Fingers crossed that all goes well and you're having Thanksgiving meal at home!

I gotta say fellas, it feels so good to be slingin some chips - very therapeutic!
And it really reminds me just how important a sharp chain is. This power saw and a sharp chain 'll get er done
She's slinging some good chips-
And not no time after I took those pics did I hit a dang rock while sawin up some 20" red oak! Oh well.....
I did however take the time to put on those dual fellin spikes that came with it
i like em - they look pretty dang good imo

Nice! Gonna be some good cuttin 4 sure 😎
I enjoy it but my body doesn't. Have to do it a little at a time. Started at 9am, by 1pm that 11 pound saw felt like a 395xp. Sitting here now with a heating pad on my back and a brace on my wrist. But I'm thankful for being able to do what I can.

I'll be 62 in March. Have a lot of medical issues that I didn't think about when I was younger.

Heckuva long hard day today
But man did we get stuff done!
Had some great guys from Charlotte & Hickory, NC come by with a Skidsteer & mini track trackhoe and they just killed it!
Plus, I got a lot of wood cut up today as well
I reckon one positive is that I've got absolutely plenty of red oak, yellow locust and maple ...... that yellow locust always puts up a good fight too lol

Fellas, how many tanks does it usually take for a saw to "wake up"?
Only reason i ask is because this baby really screams - i love this freakin saw man!20241027_132041.jpg
