Yeah, poor ole Chimney Rock was absolutely hammeredAmazing footage of the temp road to Chimney built by a sm group of WV coal miners in a week. Gives a very good idea of the destruction.
What about a 61?I'm looking to purchase a solid running OE 365/372, or one that needs a little work but should have a solid bottom end. Or, a 266/268/272 that has been gone thru. I can also do some work if needed. Have lots of parts for both of those chassis, but time is an issue. I'm wanting to donate it to the Double Island VFD, in NC. They got hit extra hard, and have nearly no budget. Very rural/remote area, and great folks. They need it for a vent saw. They bought the bar/bullet chain/depth guide but need a large mount husky to put it on. Any leads are appreciated! Again, I have lots of parts if it just needs something quick like a starter assembly or top cover ECT. Just don't have time to do a bottom end pretty much. Thanks! So much work to do here still, for years to come.
A 61 would be fine for their needs. I was leaning towards a 365 just so it would have mostly newer parts and I could cheaply put a full wrap on it.What about a 61?
I have a few 266se carcasses but haven't gone through and cleaned them yet
I’ll ask aroundA 61 would be fine for their needs. I was leaning towards a 365 just so it would have mostly newer parts and I could cheaply put a full wrap on it.
Does Duke’s or HL have any 365/372s?
Wow. That's so kind.@MacLaren @Smokealongthetracks
Do either of yall know of a good place we can send some gift bags for kids? My wife and her coworkers are putting 15 - 20 bags together with blanket, stuffed animal, coloring books, crayons, markers etc.. maybe some candy too. We want to make sure that needy kids get them. We just need to know a good place to ship them. Thanks guys.
That light bar on that 562 makes a beautiful combo.I had very seriously considering trying to replace my Jonsered 2094 Turbo with a new 592xp - but, & even before seeing what the price was on those rascals - I had come to the conclusion that the 562xp is the biggest saw i really need. I mean it pulled that 30" oak very nicely- and tears that locust up
It's just easy to get it in your head that ya have to replace something- but, really ya don't- sometimes you do of course but, in my case I came to the conclusion that I really don't.
But, I would soooooo love to have a big smooth running 592 XP!!
