My wife wanted me to stay home today. I really screwed myself, because I had a lot of work to do! :mad:

Mum and dad are in Oz for three months so we (mum,dad, sister and other half, wifey and I) took off to the coast for 2 weeks. Have been eating our own weight in seafood every day, walks on the beach, meandering round towns and finding good coffee. Brought our bicycles and have just given up smoking again so I've been getting out and giving it everything up every big hill I can find and some of them are pretty steep, as in 50mph+ on thet downhills without peddling, seriously. And that's on a mountain bike.

We have another week left yet, and having a fantastic time, back climbing trees on the 11th so heres to holidays!


Oh yeah, and this forum is the bizz, cracking job

Hope not, they hurt! Lifting technique is important, as are core muscles.
Hamstrings and glutes are the strongest muscles in the body, lifting with anything else is just asking for trouble. It won't help a hernia but Foundation training on YouTube fixed my back. Even though I still have a bad back it doesn't stop me doing anything and can lift real heavy wood all day.

Proper movement is the key, the way we are designed to move and not the lazy half assed way most of us do (me included)

A hernia isn't something to mess around with. They can sometimes be very serious if they're in the wrong spot as I'm sure you know. Please mastermind if you don't feel right soon get it checked out. My mom has had 5 different hernia operations. Don't mess around with it. They don't fix themselves

I pulled something in my gut years ago raking stone. I think I just pulled that again. Feels the same way.
