Want to send me your chain(s) ?I need an intervention Kevin.
I may have to take the Ferry to the Isle for some lessons. I went from bad, to super bad. I will need to have it ground to true it.

If any chain has been ground on, my files won't ever touch them

Dress the wheel on a round grinder and clean the burned gullets up. Then hit the gullets with a round file. Should be fineI have a chain now that is square filed but, the gullets on one side have been burned with a grinder. How else can it be fixed?

Thanks man, haven't run it yet. I hope to try it out this weekend. I'm thinking it'll be a little smoother running this time. LolLooks real good!
How's it cut?
A few minutes with JR would definitely be worth the price of admission. Not sure if ya call him an artist or a voodoo master? lolLearned a few things this weekend at a gtg about square filing chain.
Different way to hold the file still produces a great looking cutter. Stoning is more important than I thought.
Thanks John Reilly!
