There is but I'd have to dig pretty deep to find it (on a thread here on ope). They are NLA, so if you have a real old timer Stihl dealer, get in there and ask if he has some. It's doubtful at this point. I like 'em. They cut smooth and leave a nice finish.

I like the Bahco's. I've not had any that were out of shape, and they last pretty decent, even filing on the Squeal chain. Lol.

Probably. The last save edge I bought were almost junk. Chipping on the first couple strokes and full pretty quickly

The last half dozen Save Edge raker files I bought were garbage

I feel a little better now.
I will buy some Bahco's and give them a try. I'd like to try some Vallorbe's, but they are very expensive. I'm not that good of a filer for that kinda money.

I had good intentions to try my chain against one of my round chains. But something came up, or down depending on how you look at it.

The vallorbe have out lasted 2-3 times any of the Bahco or Save edge. Both of the latter use the same blanks last time I had some. Vallorbe uses their own.

A local friend. He found a box of them at his local Squeal dealer and sold me a couple. Wish I could find more.
