That chain was ground ,and if you look at the gullet he sharpened it like a cutter so it would help cut as it removed debris .study the picture more grasshopper ,and you too will be a chain ninja someday .He hand filed it??????

What i was trying to explain is you should not need an answer from someone else ,once you have enough hours behind a grinder and a file you can tell yourself ,No, not really Brian. If I got a straight answer from the get go I would have been fine. Not my first rodeo.
