At first I gave the saw two blips (not wo). Didn’t look to do much so I gave it a little constant rev. Wondering if I went a bit to far, not that I hurt anything, just removed more material than needed?

I'm not sure what's the right way, but I put the bar in a vice and crank the idle way in so the chain spins on its own and just run the stonePopped my cherry.

If you take it too far and it binds, can you just take the rivets down to accommodate?
