Imagine the metering diaphragm pulled down as far as it can go....

I would want to know why it's not replacing fuel fast enough to do that in the first place. Now ya got my gears a grinding. Lol

Is the inlet needle hole of ample size?

Usually. Only on one saw have I had to enlarge it.

That's for a gas engine. For alky, it must be enlarged.

Too hard to find when it's all assembled under the filter base.

Let me go out to the shop here in a min and show you this 026 I picked up that' missing screws mmkay.

Must have been previously owned by a Hooskie guy who was used to it.
Certainly not owned by a Stihl worksaw guy. LOL

If it was missing screws then maybe guy was using it as a parts shop saw?

Yesterday I was making some extra needles, accidentally engaged auto-feed, and wrecked the one I was finishing.

Shut the lights out and locked the door.

Gonna crawl my old ass into a sweat lodge here in a little while.
