View attachment 25115 Mine get loose like that when I mill, and yep, a bit of a pain to tighten. When I mill I have a zip tie that holds the throttle wide open, start the slab, slip the zip tie over the trigger , and go until 5-6" left to go. Average 12-16 minutes. The 088 will burn a whole tank in about 15 minutes. Tach kept around 7400-8000. Constant pressure on the mill keeps the chain nice and smooth, except for big knots will get her zinging!!! With a long bar running that hard, the chain does get warm and sloppy, but the cut surface is what I care about, and the way I run it seems to work well.
See how long it takes me to burn up another 250 dollar piston and cylinder, got 6 hours on the new one.
