I picked this saw up knowing what happened to it. Anyways guy was cutting hay bales with it. Said he set it down idling and then it quit.

No surprise why it quit.

Anyone have a good piston and cylinder laying around for this? It clearly needs one. Not sure is cylinder can be saved. Will know more when I take it apart. Doesn't appear to be a lot of used parts around for this model.

From looking trough the exhaust it is well scored. I have to take it the rest of the way apart to see if the cylinder can be saved. It has little compression.

I'm yet to see one that couldn't be saved from transfer. Long as there's no pieces or plating missing just sand it off. That plating is tuff tuff stuff.

I hope the cylinder can be saved. Other than time the rest would be an easy fix. It looks like an interesting light weight saw otherwise.

I own an Echo 330T. The little saw that could. Cut over 50 (yes fifty) cords of wood with the damn thing.

14" picco Oregon bar. 14 years and I can't kill it.

Echo is the Honda of chainsaws. Zero sexy about them, performance is meh...

But just seem to last and start.
