I found 20" Total Super bars for my 372 for $55.00 If you can find me a Sugi that cheap please let me know.
The cheapest you will find sugi is around $80 for the 20" but that is the light weight but they don't have standard bars available so that is going to be about as cheap as they get

I think nothing looks better than a jonsered 2172 with a total super bar maybe it's just me .I will add for some reason the totals tend to get surface rust easier don't know why but I keep my saws clean and still check occasionally.

I'm impressed with both of mine. The fit and finish is really nice. Oil holes are chamfered nicely. Far nicer in quality than Stihl ES. However, I have never used one of the "top tier" bars yet, so the Super Bar is the best I've ever used.

Always run the Total, 20" & 24" on Uncle Ache, they don't stay "nice" looking forever but sure do hold up cutting 20 to 25 truckloads a winter.

That's my whole point... You can't compare a sugi rw (80.00) to a total solid (55.00) that is not apples to apples. My comment before was as stated that the sugi rw and total l&t are comparable priced.
kinda...T202FK4 is $74.95,
20" Sugihara Bar for a STIHL
$80.00
so just by price alone they are close enough that you cant really complain either way but shipping on the Sugi will run $10-20 and the Total will ship free if you just add something to get the total over $100. At that point the total is much cheaper.

Is Steve a sponsor? he is the cheapest i have found on the sugi bars

And we can mount that stihl bar on quite a few saws!

The clear coat and graphics flake off pretty quickly but otherwise they're tough.

The bars im looking at are the Total super bars. Like this http://www.weedeaterman.com/product_p/wemtt417fv4.htm. Not the super pro light. I never compared the bar's apple's to apples, i just know i would rather not spend $80 on a Sugi, thats why when if found the Total super bars at the place where i can get them for $55, i came on here to see what the guys who had them thought of them. I always have used Husqvarna (Oregon) bars and i guess what i was wondering if they were any good. Thanks to those who have them and gave me your input.

Looks just like a Sugihara only cost more. As Mike said earlier there isn't much price difference comparing bar to bar

You can always justify another saw.

I have a few of the light weight Totals and Sugis. Both seem to be equally well made. The only noticeable difference is the oiler holes. Sugi is angled like Stihl and Totals are straight with a larger diameter. Both work fine for me.

(ONLY talking about the Pro Light bars)
Do both manufacturers make a Stihl 20" .50 gauge? I am having difficulty finding that in a Sugi.
