Yeah I think I would be an alcoholicComing up on our 20th in May. Best thing that ever happened to me. I would be dead or in jail if it wasnt for her. Or because of her.

I think it would have good points no doubtWell that's the way things go I guess , that was almost 3 years ago now and I'm adjusting OK .
It does have it's good points too
gee that's a nice thing to say , good on yaWill be 40yrs in 4 months from now.
I have sooo much money and time vested in training her.
I'm too damn old and poor to start training another one.
I would be absolutely lost without her, to tell the truth.
Exactly 5 years!!!
Married 5 together 9 definitely the light of my life. She became disabled about four years ago at age 31 but aside from a cane and bad days from time to time she's always smiling. I honestly can say she's stronger than I ever could be going through this with a positive attitude.
My wife is epileptic. But wasn't always. After five years of college, and several years of working at a hospital, she started having horrible seizures. She ended up with a pacemaker because the seizures would stop her heart.
She's much better now. We finally found a good neurologist who was willing to spend the time to try any and all meds.
So.....I understand.
Going thru all this made us even closer.
Definitely made us closer after the initial shock of this is how it's gonna be from now on. One thing I will say it's brought more compassion into my life. You will never understand the struggles a person with a disability goes through until you live it.
After my hip surgery I was given the paperwork for the sticker, I haven't filled it out yet, but it's only been 14 years. I cannot bring myself to do it yet, because I know that there are folks that need that spot more than me. I have a good friend that is a disabled vet that has the sticker. Most days you cannot tell that he needs one, but if he does a lot of walking it screws his back up bad. It bothers me to see able bodied people parking in the gimp spots too, but after being around Randy I cut them some slack now. That's like seeing able bodied people park in the handicap spots.....pisses me right off.
My mother had terrible rheumatoid arthiritis . the kind that twist your hands and feet. she walked on the sides of her feet but never used a cart or h/c parking spot. God doesn't make many like that. Merry Christmas momma RIP !That's like seeing able bodied people park in the handicap spots.....pisses me right off.
It used to be that when people asked me if I was married, I told them, "I'm between divorces."
But the latest one has stuck around for 25 years. This is good news, because it means they've probably stopped looking for the bodies of the last four, by now.
