How are the Asian 660s holding up???

I fixed the problem by changing the oil tank hose. It oils a beaut now. [emoji106]

Most of mine are running the Asian coils w/o any problems. They may not be compatible with the real early saws.

Pulled my muffler off saw to do muffler mod to Match my other 2 ms660, I was very supprized at how clean jug and piston are. This picture doesn’t do it justice. I ran this saw all last summer.

40 to1 she cut down a lot of trees. My huztl 372 also this clean. I took jug off to extract broken bolt in case. Sorry no pictures on that saw.

Just wanted to share my life experiences with the huztl saws with you guys

I like your post I’ve been working on similar problems I have the Huzti 660 also blue I had no oil from out of the box found out the case was not machined enuf around the oil pump drive and the oil pump drive wire cut a new path on it’s own the pump was destroyed I replaced it and the pickup line and the oil pump drive after re cutting the case to clear now I have oil but it’s not enuf half tank of oil to one tank gas and the oil vale - cam all the way open or full oil so I’m wondering if my oil to thick it’s cold 32 degrees hear and the chain oil is malaises I’m going to try thinner oil and see any ideas ? But the saw is running grate

The Asian 660s I've built have oiled fine, but I have bent the drive rod sometimes when it does not spin 360 w/o making contact.

Maybe try the oil pump mod?

Had to trim the OP drive spring tang on one of mine for case clearance.

I always grind a little off the tip of the metal arm for clearance and always make the Grove deeper in the drum so it doesn't push down on the metal arm.

1/2 cup of K1 to a 1/2 gal of summer mix oil. SHAKE THE F OUT OF IT.
Been buying tractor supply cheapazz paraffin based oil when on sale @ 5 bucks a gal.
