I believe @Redbull661 may have done so, when he was testing the Yapanese bars. I seem to recall that it made for a considerably lower running temperature.Has anyone stripped the clear coat from the Tsumura bars easily? When milling it will start burning off on the edge sometimes.
I piss revved mine with the chain real loose.I have a Carlton bar that had so much clear on it that the chain wouldn't go in the groove properly. But I can't remember how I stripped it
I use this at work and it will tear metal around it before the bonding breaks. CREST makes the same stuff and is just as good as the 3mPanel bond gets rock hard. If you apply it correct, even stays pretty shiny. Was solid black last time I used it. Only issue, it will not hold paint.
It is ment to glue steel parts together. Quarterpanels, bedside, door skins. Etc. If applied properly sheet metal will tear before the bond breaks.
I wrote to Van Sant, they recommend Hougen
"Carbide Holcutter, TM."

I don't know of the quality of the Relton Annular Cutters, but Hougen is superior to the brands I am familiar with.
Pig fat works well as lube.
There used to be an Industrail tooling company that sold it in a roll similar to the old cardboard drill sleeves.
(Seems like you have been pretty good with the bull through the years . . . ). . . the issues I had were due to my lack of ability to not be strong like bull.
Si señor. Trying for 45° from both sides, using a dremel flex shaft, and double cut burrs.Jon ,Are you beveling the edge where the inserts are going to give the material somewhere to anchor to ?
Har! Har! Har!(Seems like you have been pretty good with the bull through the years . . . )

The Reltons seem to be pretty high quality, the issues I had were due to my lack of ability to not be strong like bull.
