Good point. Some customers will pay for quality but many just want cheap price. We don't get many of those cheap cylinders coming back. It's good for a cheap fix. Not sure about the performance.Do you think the pit goes all the way through? Funny thing about these cheap kits is I've seen tons of them installed without inspection. Every one is still running. Saw some heavy casting flash and plating pits but no failures. Im sure @Gentleman is looking at this from a similar position. They are not perfect but most all are usable and functional.
......DoneYou need to update that sig @Gentleman ....
......Done
Hope to have an update this evenin.sorry for the delay.been busy at work, had to get a 288 out of the way and trying to recover from getting a wisdom tooth pulled thursday.that one bout whooped me.
bloody hell , what you going to do nowView attachment 57136 no longer testing the ms 260 cylinder.just way too much sand embedded into the casting.so much infact that the threads for the decomp where nothing more than sand.after a few hours in the usc and brushing with a wire brush then flushing the threads still stripped out.
next up ms360

I'll come up with something maybe.I know a guy that does tig for a company.he may be able to sneek it in and blob it closed for me.Really sucks Juggy.
I'd be glad to goober that hole up with aluminum for ya, but shipping both ways will cost more than the jug is worth.
I plan on hitting my jug soon. I better chase all the threads before I do anything else.
