I thought I'd start a thread for the old "Eliminator blue top" j-reds and husqvarna saws. For those that dont know. My understanding is that Eliminator made a heavy duty hi-top air filter kit for the late 80s, early 90's pro saws. Then huskie bought the patent for their own hd top covers. K&N made a special flanged filter for the kit. I'm sure someone that knows more will share but thats what i know.0831171819.jpgHere's my ol stuff. Neither has the oblong filter adapter for the K&N. I think they look good tho. 61 and 288. 288 cover thanks to @XP_Slinger and @mdavlee.

None. It was an aftermarket thing in the late 80's early 90's. They're kinda rare now
I understand that but I've only seen 288s with the Eliminator on them. Didn't know what jreds would of had that option available to them.
