Happy Father's Day gents, a day late.

My youngest came in the garage and said "Dad", to which my hand reflexively went into my pocket before I could answer her. She started laughing, asking why I did that. Hey, a reflex is a reflex.

My Dad's in the "upper room" as well. 8 years this month, and it still feels like it was yesterday.

Two more good sayings he ALWAYS used to use came to me today:

"Mother Nature gives you the first 40 years, after that you better work on it", and,

"Pick the lean horse for the long race"!!!

The older I get, the truer these things get.
