Norinco is no joke. Their AK's sell for way more than European ones even if total beaters.
The Norinco 1911s were all WW2 clones tiny sights and were under 200.00 at my local gunstore
Before they banned importation
Then they were 400.00+ after
I never bought one but wish I had.
A guy had a set of tall sights put on one and I put a nowlin national match sear spring in.
3lbs all day long it was more accurate than my Springfield 1911s sub 2" groups at 25yds with target loads.

@Czed

Figured you'd like this sweet TX22 Dave.

I have 2 all black tx .22s one with safety one without
that one there reminds me of the ford splash trucks in the 90s
I have access to just about every popular and some rare .22 semi autos at my friends range and I always shoot my tx .22
It's been the most reliable .22 pistol I've ever had or shot and plenty accurate not exceptional but better than many
other than dead primers it simply has not jammed or misfired in 6k+ I really don't know how many rounds because I loan it to my family and friends to practice and learn with.

Been shooting my Winny 94 .30-30 and Rossi 92 .357 alot lately and I've learned something. With a rifle, I'm good for about a dozen rounds before my already modest marksmanship drops to nothing. It makes sense that I can usually make something go dead when hunting with one round. Fortunately, I can shoot at my house so shorter and more frequent range sessions are in order. Fire a few rounds, go do something else for a few hours, come back and shoot some more.

Hard to feed the saw & gun addiction with a monthly child support payment.
Don't know how long you got to go, but here's what I would do. At least in my state, the person owed child support can agree to a lump sum payment in exchange for waiving the rest of the payments. And it can be less than the full amount they would have received. May want to go to a credit union and see what the max is they would give you on a signature loan. Then have your lawyer contact hers and see if they are open to settlement. It's much better to owe money to a bank than child support, that stuff is no joke. I work in court records so I see this every day.

Went shooting with a new to firearms guy today
He went crazy for mine and is buying a tx .22 or compact monday he said IMG_20230211_161829563_HDR.jpg
I shot his new sigma? whatever they're called now I haven't shot one since the 90s
It shot great even with the heavy trigger which wasn't bad at all
Much better than the old version.IMG_20230211_160437674.jpgi lined up his *s-wordty scope at 100ydsIMG_20230211_152929787_HDR.jpg
Ruger ar15
Very good trigger that's about 40 rounds I told him to get a better scope or dot.

Ummmm...
I was comparing it to the Taurus .22
Really?
You thought I was comparing a .22lr pistol to a AR?

The pistol is an S&W SD series. Like a Glock and M&P had a baby and a really good value gun. I have a Ruger AR and really like it. A cheap scope or red dot on an autoloader is not going to do you any favors. I'm probably the worst marksman on this forum but my rifle will do better than that at 100 with the issue sights. He may want to at least give the sights a chance, they work really well.

Put a dozen rounds through the Winchester 94 today and something is going really wrong here. Shots are stringing vertical like mad, as in like 10 inches. I'm wondering if something is going on with the barrel bands. The front one is a bit loose, which is typical of cheaper 94's. Or mebbe the load is just too hot, although I wouldn't think 26 grains H335 is too much for a gas checked 150 grain slug.

My 1978 model is very accurate with 24 grains Reloader 7/Lee 170 grain. I'll try the former load in it and see what happens. I don't want to spend my summer trying to sort this thing out since it's a $200.00 beater and I have 3 other .30-30's that shoot great. There is a nice Glock 42 at a pawn shop near me that has been there forever because it's priced more than a new one. Maybe they would be willing to trade me, hmmm...

Clean the bore. My Henry is a tack driver and then out of nowhere it shoots all over the place. Swab the bore and it's back on track driver mode!

Does the same ammo shoot the same out of your other 30-30s?

Thanks, I actually gave it a good scrubbing before shooting it yesterday. I'm going to try the same ammo in my '78 model and also my laser accurate Marlin Glenfield 30. 'Nother intriguing possibility is have this thing rebored to a .38-55 since I've always wanted one!

Not my rifle he never shot a rifle with a scope before
I got it zeroed in.
It's on him to get a better sighting system
My Romeo 5s are more accurate than that trueglow scope he has.
