I was able to give the new upper a test drive after work today. Being that it was new, I decided to burn up some old 115 grain factory jacketed loads to break it in. First few groups were pretty wild, then it settled down and seems to be as accurate as my well worn Glock 19 and 26. Function was 100% and I was delighted to see the empties didn't go far at all. While cleaning it I noticed a ton of copper fouling coming out. It took a fair amount of scrubbing to get clean, I guess the bore was rather rough. I'll try my usual lead bullet loads in it next time, hopefully in a day or two.
