I was able to give the new upper a test drive after work today. Being that it was new, I decided to burn up some old 115 grain factory jacketed loads to break it in. First few groups were pretty wild, then it settled down and seems to be as accurate as my well worn Glock 19 and 26. Function was 100% and I was delighted to see the empties didn't go far at all. While cleaning it I noticed a ton of copper fouling coming out. It took a fair amount of scrubbing to get clean, I guess the bore was rather rough. I'll try my usual lead bullet loads in it next time, hopefully in a day or two.

While I was test driving my new upper yesterday one of the screws holding the optics plate disappeared. I sent the seller Delta Team Tactical a message this morning, they replied within an hour and are sending new screws out today. Yeah, I think they will be getting more business from me!

SBR stamp approved. Two stamp gun. 9mm, nested suppressor. PSA has a retro DOE that looks cool. I thought one with a nested suppressor would be fun.

Super cool! I've been collecting parts to build one almost identical to this!

Thanks. The handguard is a cheap one from ohunt. The rugged obsidian suppressor mount is a tri-lug. The shorter A2 stock was tough to find at a reasonable price. The buffer is a maxim defense roller delay. They aren't cheap but they are worth it. Makes an AR blow back into a soft shooter. Ohunt has a nicer handguard without the quad rail. I had this ohunt quadrail and wanted to use it up.

Mind me asking where you found the short stock?

Anyone have any opinions on the older colt mustang 380s? Have a coworker who bought it many moons ago, and has yet to even put a round thru it....and now is looking to clear up space/funds for something different.... i am interested for a pocket gun, or for a bag gun for the wife... i know 380 isnt the most powerful.... but any pew is better than no pew.... 🤣
So update on this....🤣 he finally brought it in, hes a bit advanced in years and his memory isnt as good as it used to be.... sadly it was not a colt, but a cobra .380... and sadly, he overpaid for it when he got it many moons ago... was wanting to get what he paid, which was $170.... while you can pick them up used for $80, and new for about $120.... so i guess the pocket/bag gun search continues....

Had one of these in my hands a few weeks ago.... was thinking long and hard about laying down a deposit on it....

I highly recommend the tisas made 1911s they make them for Mac
The philippine made 1911s work fine but these mac 1911s are very well made I have 2
And this version has the tennifer finish and upgrades better sights, safety's etc

When I worked at Rule Kang, we always sold out of the Tisas 1911's very quickly. They are very nice guns, I thought they compared well to the lower end Springfields.
