I was doing better.......then the calves got out. Walking up and down the hill between the pond and the barn at far too quick a pace got me hurting again. I've been checked for hernias......and cleared on that. Doc said I have a muscle or tendon ripped away from the bone. It's looking like I'm gonna have to give in and have surgery done on it.

Done that a few times on my quad. It stopped hurting after a few months.

Just put mine back on the shelf till you're back to your old ornery self. I've got that ported 026 and a backup 031. My 084 is on the fritz for now but the 026 you've got won't cover for it on the mill anyway. It's a shame how some married men can't take a beating like they used to and have to make up excuses but get better in any case.

If you don't take care of it now, you will sincerely regret it later. I had the same with the shoulder. Takes time. Once healed you'll be all better. I second that emotion about the massage therapist. Make sure they are certified, and tell them you want Swedish. Tell them to go deep. They'll know the language you are talking. Make sure your wife has a wheelbarrow handy as that is what she'll need to get you back in the truck. Twice a week until you are fully healed.
