They were killed after they confiscated/stole motorcycles and chainsaws from what they're calling " illegal logging " .
When you start taking wheels and lively hood from forest people. You might get shot!
Article says over 200 conservationists have been killed , I guess that's a indication that those are not your "people"!

I can remember back before the big real estate bubble popped, you saw this stuff all over the place around here. That and ladders "tied" on a rack with that red plastic tape and a T-shirt.
