Saws in question are 395XP and 272. I have rebuilt both from the ground up and am not certain on the correct fuel filter length and orientation.
I've been having a challenge when cutting clutch side up on these two saws... The fuel line seems to suck air almost immediately, unless the tank is absolutely topped off.
It seems like the fuel line falls to the bottom fine when the flywheel side is up, but doesn't stay properly submerged when cutting clutch side up. If I shorten the line, it doesn't appear to be properly submerged when in the bucking position.
Its all Echo bulk fuel line. What are the the tricks for helping the fuel line work in all positions?
