Sooo, lifehack here for all ya fellow haters of the new style epa bs nozzles that come with any new fuel jug ya purchase. Yall know what im talking about!! They have some sort or another of a locking device that you have to deactivate while trying to pour which causes a bigger spill than a regular damn nozzle does in the first place...

Yea!!! I solved this problem!!! The ol switcheroo!!! Upon standing in walmart in an aisle full of all different sizes and types of fuel/liquid jugs, red ones (gas), yellow (diesel), blue (water), white, black, hell even some random smaller green jugs. Even jugs that can hold seperate fuel and oil in the same jug. I learned ALL of these jugs but ONE have dumb ass epa nozzles. Can anyone guess which jug comes with a standard, awesome, old school type auto siphon nozzle?!? THE WATER JUG!!!! I about crapped my pants when i pulled the cap off it and pulled the nozzle out to find one of the best nozzles i have seen on any type of jug in prolly 20 years. Sooo with a quick switcheroo onto some red jugs, i now have new 1, 2.5, and 5gal fuel jugs with normal damn spouts on them life is good!!

I just bought a can last year (at Harbor Freight), and put one on it. They come with a couple different rings to match different thread patterns.

20170331_154734.jpg 20170331_154724.jpg here is a pic of the 1gal can with the "water" jug nozzle. Notice the red cap on the end? It actually screws on and locks in place, and ya pinch the sides and turn to unscrew. These nozzles dump fluids fast too, this 1 gal can will empty in just a few seconds. My bigger cans are in my work truck or id have taken pics. They have the same nozzles from the water jugs tho.

I drill a 1/2 inch hole through the neck into the spout of the epa cans bypassing that crap and put an empty red armor bottle as the end cap works perfect keeps me from 20170330_192013.jpg setting them on fire from rage.

I like the no spill cans, they are easier for me when it comes to filling saws and such. But if I'm gunna empty a whole can into something I'd definitely take the old school kind.

I agree on the No-Spill cans. I use them exclusively for mix and splitter gas.
I have some GI Jerry cans that my FIL gave me, that I use for Diesel and an old two gallon round can.
Here's a pic of some of the cans I use. I have a couple dozen.
I figure when I grow a third hand, I'll get some of the EPA cans.
