Fuel in Echo PB 255 blower engine

What would cause fuel to get into the engine? It has happened twice, and both times I had to remove the plug and spin the engine to get all the fuel out. Both times the blower had been sitting for several times. After the second time I pulled the carb and when I disconnected the black fuel line I got a stong flow of fuel as if the tank was pressurized. Once I clear the engine it runs fine. I'm talking about a lot of fuel-- enought to prevent spinning the engine.

The needle under your metering lever is hanging up and not shutting off the gas flow. I would take the carb apart, clean it thoroughly, and put a new carb kit in it. Do not forget to set the metering lever height or you will still have problems.
