Football fundraiser

I asked @Mastermind about this before I shared it here. It may need to be its own thread, but I can make another if needed.

Our local high school football team has pretty much been screwed over for years by the school and county school board. Add to that the last coach took quite a bit of cash from the program and was a sorry ass individual, the team is struggling! We have a new coach that’s trying to do the right thing and turn it around. The team is having a fundraiser for new equipment, camp, buses, pregame meals, and other needs. We are currently in the red by about $3100 after getting helmets reconditioned! If any of you all want to donate in his behalf, here is the link. This young man is one of the hardest working teenagers I know. He isn’t your typical 15 year old. Aiden McCubbins is his name. Thanks!

Good to see players taking some ownership in improving the team where the school system cannot or will not. Helped where I could, please let those parents know that they should be proud of these young men.

I appreciate it! The team has dwindled down in numbers due to the new coach holding them accountable! I told them, everyone has to buy in to the program before they have a good team. I’ve been a part of all sorts of teams, including three years as a walk-on at Tennessee.
