I really like those caps. Or like Echo so you can use the starter handle to loosen them.
I hate the Echo caps almost as bad as flippy caps, two hands just to pull the starter rope out to use the handle. :oops:

My scrench has 3 options on it make a cap that uses one of the 3 options.

My scrench has 3 options on it make a cap that uses one of the 3 options.

I used to carefully use the screwdriver end of my scrench on my Echo caps across the studs - you don’t HAVE to use the starter handle. But now I’ve whittled down the handle of my chip brush to a flat, square surface that works well on the caps. So brush them off clean, blow them off for good measure, then flip the brush and pop the caps loose. Quicker to do than to describe.

Yep! I think the starter handle was a back-up idea, just in case you'd left your scrench elsewhere. I guess... I do agree that it's not handy, but I guess it's better than nothing. LOL

Exactly. If you have to use the handle every time, then you’re over tightening them.
