A bit if extra work but drill and tap the broken stub. Use some "GOO" of what will hold best at the last moment of assembly. I would use a short piece of all thread and run it into the "threaded stub" as much as will fit. Then use a nut/tap and washer to draw it up tight from the out side. (Plastic threads will get less stress that way) Good luck.
If you have access to a plastic welder you could dremel it bigger on the outside to expose more to weld to. Then put the piece in position add a some stainless screen to area on the outside and weld it back together.
No this is just for testing. Got original just was curios how long will china last... now i know 4 days of use. Had this was idea if someone try this before.
