image.jpeg image.jpeg Are the 026 and 260 bases the same and the covers are the only difference? I've never seen an oem 260 muffler or the inside of one. I know the photos might not be stock versions of either.

When I had my 260 ported by Mastermind, he modified my cover with a side outlet to help flow the exhaust along with the front opening.

I made some sheet metal that will cover both outlets to test.

So I tested on my dyno to see if there are gains or losses. I found the ported saw likes both openings open.:coleman:

The muffler looks like a dual port like the 660's use.

I'm pleased with that muffler mod...:clapclap:

MI GO BLUE!!!!
I like it. Is the top header pipe far enough away from the chain brake? It looks pretty close in the picture.

i like that.
heres the simple mm i finished deburring this morning.it goes on my buddys 026 that i just built.the last 026 i done didn't have the inside cage and the front facing exhaust holes.it had very good gains just opening the exit holes.
hoping this one has some good gains.can't wait to see what the muffler mod,.5mm base gasket, single ring and ignition advance does.20160213_082307.jpg 20160213_082253.jpg
