Fed Ex is super awful, unhelpful and liar, liars

waited around for a package because their online authorization service doesn't work
they say nobody was home, which we were specifically for them
they left no call tag
call to customer service is of course a robo-call center and then a mumble-mouthed unhelpful witch who just says that I cant go pick it up at the hub this evening (which is normally what I have to do) but because it is a home delivery it is handled by someone else and doesn't go back to the hub so I can wait around tomorrow on the package or if I ask it to be held I can wait till they call me Monday or later to tell me it has been delivered back to the hub where I can go get it
worst of all the delivery companies to my address, USPS, UPS, DHL are all stellar, hell I give them Christmas cards, but Fed Ex SUCKSSSSSSSSSS.
had to vent, while I WONDER WHERE MY SAW IS TONIGHT

I had a relief driver try to get one off one day after 5pm. UPS shows out for delivery. I watched UPS truck go by and it updated said nobody home.
I called ahead of him on his way back to home base. They made him bring it back 25mins drive.

I agree Fedex does SUCKKKKKKKKKK. The last package I sent out, they pre-authorized my card for the amount that should have been charged. I had put in measurements and weight online. When they actually charged my card a few days later they charged me 5 dollars more. No reason or explanation given. The only way to get out of them doing this is to pay cash at a drop off place.

i bought 2 saws on ebay and they shipped same box and the usps screwed that up it sat in a hub for a week before being delivered and probably only reason why was delivered was because i have a friend who works at a hub and had her boss email the postal inspector . when postal inspector got involved it was delivered the next day , but box was completely beat up and wrapped in plastic and stickers on it saying wrapped by the usps . luckily the bars and small stuff was still in box and nothing broke .

They are liars. I was waiting for a delivery , they kept saying they were here but I was not home like 3 times. I have sec cams and we played it back to the times they said they were here and all lies!!!!!!!

There are, like, 3 different companies: FedEx Express; FedEx Ground; and FedEx Home Delivery.

I have ordered things from Apple and had the computer go one way, the printer come a second, and something else sent by the third.

Very confusing.

Fed ex has always been slower than either usps or ups. I absolutely hate when someone ships me a package through them I always try and request that they not be used when possible. I had a saw shipped through them and it sat an hour away for 2 weeks for "weather delays" this was well after the roads were clear and it hadn't snowed for a week. Their customer service is unhelpful and they are just inefficient.

I live in KY and it never fails that they are at least a day later than they have to be. It's bad that they will send it to a hub in my state that is less than an hour from me then they ship it 3 hours away to Indianapolis to a "smart hub" then the next day I might, might is stressed, get it.

$5, meh... I once sent a 4 in 1 bucket for a track loader by truck and they came back for $500 more as it weighed 1000 pounds more than my estimate.

Fed ex sucks. I've gotten way too many things with beat up or broken boxes. Hell sometimes the stuff inside is broken. This was last month. we'll fix it with some stickers. Lolneedless to say it was broken and had to be exchanged. Second one still had holes but wasn't actually broken.

You live and learn. I still hope for your sake it comes undamaged. Probably depends how the person packages it to begin with. Mine could have been fixed with better packaging but also if those guys didn't throw it around like it was a pillow. I have had good luck with ups and try to remember to request them when ordering. Most places don't mind. This place only delt with FedEx.

I really don't know it it's them bringing it or not. I know it's not UPS or USPS, so who's left? I just thought they would be the carrier. I never use them mmyself. But the package I am getting has had trouble in the past from carriers breaking it. If they throw it around or stack heavy things on top it will be broken.

USPS became pricey when they won the contract for Amazon. They raised their price and are hiring subs to deliver on Sunday. FedEX Ground, Air, and Home delivery are very confusing. I did notice the Home guys do delivery on Saturday but not on Monday. Both of their tracking systems are useless. FedEX is better than USPS but UPS is the best IMO. Good luck Dave hope it gets there soon.

Might have lucked out, Just looked at my E-Mails and it has been shipped by UPS. Won't be here till Tuesday. We will see if it's busted up.
