Favorite IMPORTED German Lager

What do you guys drink when you want a really good one? Germans only, please.

Wernesgrüner from Aldi. I don’t know that it ranks as the best, but the most affordable at $5.99+tax for a 4 pack .5l cans. I haven’t tried a lot, but I haven’t ran across a German beer I did not like.

Not quite. Dunkel means "dark". Bock is a malty beer. But is the Weihenstephaner you're talking about a Wheat / Weis beer?

Not quite. Dunkel means "dark". Bock is a malty beer. But is the Weihenstephaner you're talking about a Wheat / Weis beer?

I believe their dunkel is actually called dunkel weizen or more accurately Hefeweissbier so yes a wheat beer.

Yeah, if you can find a local brewery that makes lagers. Round here, everyone is making IPA's and bringing their kid to the outdoor pub. No thanks on the kids. Your effing kid isn't as cute as you think he/she is.
