Ok looks like its time for an update! I still have a 3d printer and will fire it up again very soon. It's supposed to be over 100* here this week so it probably won't be until next week. The printer is like running a heater for the 3 hours it take to print one.

Nice! The lettering looks like poop though. I tore the printer down and did some maintenance and got that cleaned up a bit.

I have a failed print that I can paint and see what it does. The material is shiny, flexible and probably not gonna do well with paint but they do have a vinyl paint that might just work. I have to run to the store later, Ill grab a can and see what it does..

Aw hell dont worry about all that lol. I just want to make sure that your holder fits this models.
If I have to I can dye it.

Yep that's the one. I'm curious about the paint now, that's a better option than spending money on colors just to have them not work out.

I have a special vinyl paint in my garage. I can check when I get home. No vibrant color though. I used it on a dashboard of a car. It worked great.

I think it's Duplicolor that does the vinyl and leather paint

So I couldn't find the paint I wanted but I found this at Walmart. Came out nice and flexible in the sun anyway. Might be different in the cold. They had 20 or more colors
