Expanded metal on trailer sides

I've got a new to me trailer and want to add expanded metal on the sides of it. My question is what specific size/strength of mesh do I need?

Real heavy not flattened, the stuff they use for catwalks…then you can hook motorcycle straps to it wherever you want.

That’s going to add an insane amount of weight. Depending on the size of his trailer he may be out of payload when he’s done lol.

My case is 18” tall flipup sides on our flatbed trucks. Tall sides on a small trailer for brush, yeah, light stuff…

Crusher screen, comes in many sizes, way better than expanded mesh
