I have a grave yard of them(wheelbarrows)

I have a plastic wheelbarrow i got as damaged goods from Lowes years ago. Original price was $109, I paid $40 for it. Tire blew apart so I put one of those solid rubber never-flat tires on it. Handles are fiberglass with big wrap-around ez-dump grips on them. Its a HOSS of a tool until the plastic drum cracked. Drilled ancouple small holes and zip tied it together then used a soldering iron to plastic-weld it to at least keep from leaking. I have contemplated making it into a dual-wheel to make it easier to balance. I think people truly underestimate the utility of a GOOD wheelbarrow. Hell, we have used them to transport water after heavy rains. Sure beats carrying 5 gallon buckets

I only use these ones... mainly because you can get a run at hills or small steps without slamming the front end into the ground and eatin *s-word! Plus, no wooden handles to rot or give me splinters... They’re about $125 new, but worth it to me. It just needs a solid rubber tire...

My grandfather had an OLD wheelbarrow like that with the rolled up front support. It was HEAVY as hell but sturdy as all get out. It did have wood handles though.

Problem with that is when Dave's dad sells wood to the campers at the local park he carries his wheelbarrow on top of the wood in the back of the truck.

This one is not too heavy, but definitely heavier than the cheap ones with wood handles. Be tough to throw it up on top of a truck loaded with wood.

When u get a chance take a pic off the plywood.
We go through wheelbarrows pretty quickly

Here it is. Sorry pic is not real clear, used it for mixing concrete last, and she got put away wet!

Just cut 1/4 treated plywood for the bottom, then ran the bolts through with large washers, then deck screwed it to the handles. It is solid as a rock.
