How do we know what the octane truly is thats stated? Anyone know how to test?
Is it that VP Fuel? Or Trufuel?

Not sure but seems Ive heard most measure SG in relation to octaneOh?

It's too bad they won't include the complete story about why the detonation occurs and how to prevent it when using higher octane fuel. If there isn't enough compression then the motor will ping with higher octane. You also need leaded fuel or a racing fuel with the ingredients that replaced lead.
