does the set up last? i got a old husqvarna i would like to put it on and i want to know if it is compatible?
Me tooThe aftermarket ones aren't worth a nickel. But oem stihl seems to hold up well. I've never had the rope break, it has always been the rubber to give for me.
got a picture joe?Husqvarna has their own version now, just saying, and it looks so much more appropriate.

Maybe try a Rescue D handle? Easy on the hands and provide a good grip.I'd say they're worth it. I have a ts400 concrete saw i bought new in 97. Maybe 500 starts per year. I've put probably 5 of them on it since then. They don't last like an original husky rope of that era, but provide some give to smooth things out
It's not really hard to start. That's just what the dealer put on it when i needed It fixed fast.Maybe try a Rescue D handle? Easy on the hands and provide a good grip.
That looks like three parts. Is it just one part number?
9 bucks a pop hell that'll double the value of my badazz wildthing !Baileys at one time sold their version of the starting system .For reasons unknown they discontinued it .
Gregg Grande sent a bunch of give away stuff some years back to one of our GTG's .I think I had three of those, used one gave one away don't know about the other one .
I much prefer a D-handle used on a 460 rescue saw .They are 8-9 bucks a pop and well worth it .
