I don't understand why these are not more popular. Our local dealers don't stock them. If they did there would be a good possibility I would have that instead of my 6100.

Kinda surprised that the 6100 uses a k095 bar mount, that saw should have a larger mount pattern IMO......

Echo 6700. I've tuned the saw and it runs pretty well. The owner's manual says the min setting on the high needle is 1-5/8 turns out. Best tune is nowhere near that. It's more like a hair over 1 turn out.

Any reason I should heed the manual 1-5/8 turns out on the high side that I should know about?

At that setting it's very rich and doesn't run worth crap

I am going to be ordering up some new Echo/Shindaiwa service tools shortly, is there any thing that you guys have really been wanting that you cant find for those saws?
I stock a handful of parts but I am not familiar enough with these brands to know what else would be handy to have around.

@Definitive Dave I was think older saws like 500 vl or 400 evl ? Just because my last time I went in to my local echo dealer and asked for some part the ahole behimd the counter was rude and stupid. SO stupid in fact he asked me if the saw in question a poulan woodshark had the Tecumseh motor. And ol @jake wells might have some ideas.

Thats the price i was quoted, the dealer said the 22nd through 25th all echo was 20% off so i ordered one.
